The Master Script of the Cross

We are not navigating a chaotic accident. We are living inside a masterfully written script, where the Creator of the universe initiated a daring rescue operation before the foundations of the world were laid."

Inside this leaflet:

  • The Source: Who is the Mind behind the universe?

  • The Prophecy: A 1,000-year-old execution script written before crucifixion was invented.

  • The Victory: Why the grave could not hold absolute Life.

The Source and His Attributes

To understand the Cross, we must first understand the nature of God. Imagine God the Father as the Sun, a single, blinding, untouchable source of raw, uncreated glory.

But this ultimate Sun is not a silent, cold star. He eternally possesses two vital, intrinsic attributes:

  • His Divine Speech: His mind, reason, and perfect expression.

  • His Divine Life: His vital, living breath and Spirit.

Just as you cannot separate the sun from its own light or its own heat, you cannot separate God from His Word or His Spirit. They are one undivided, solar reality.

The Clothed King

When humanity abused its free will, it caused a profound spiritual fracture. But God had a plan. To enter our dark, enemy-occupied territory without destroying us with His raw, blinding glory, He clothed His eternal Word in human skin. This physical man was Jesus Christ, the perfect embodiment of God’s voice and character, walking among us to execute the ultimate rescue.

The Blueprint Written in Advance

The execution of Jesus on the Cross was not a chaotic backup plan or a historical accident. One thousand years before Jesus was born, God used the pen of His servant, King David, to write the prophetic tactical manual for this mission.

In Psalm 22, David painted a chillingly accurate picture of a future execution:

  • He described hands and feet being pierced.

  • He described soldiers dividing up his clothing and gambling for them.

This was written centuries before the Roman Empire had even invented crucifixion as a method of execution. This level of prophetic precision proves that history is not a series of random, chaotic events. It is an unfolding narrative written by a Creator who is entirely in control.

When we see David’s ancient poetry match the brutal reality of the Roman cross, we realise we are looking at a divine signature left in the pages of history.

The Final Cry

When Jesus was hung upon the Cross, the pagan Roman soldiers blindly followed King David’s script down to the exact syllable. In his final moments of intense physical and spiritual agony, Jesus locked his voice onto the very first line of David's ancient psalm, crying out to the heavens: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46

He wasn't crying out in failure. He was pointing the onlookers to the script, proving His absolute submission to the Father's master plan.

The Cosmic Bomb in the Grave

The forces of darkness and the corrupt authorities thought they had won. They mocked Jesus on the timber, sealed his body in a stone tomb, and thought they were burying just another human troublemaker.

They had no idea they had just dragged a cosmic bomb into the heart of the grave. The physical flesh of Jesus went into the dirt, but His eternal Spirit descended into the depths of death.

Suddenly, the uncreated, explosive energy of Divine Life detonated from within the tomb! Death simply could not hold absolute Life.

Jesus shattered the locks of the grave from the inside, broke the binding power of sin, and rose from the dead.

The Tree of Life

Imagine the relationships of God as a tree:

  • The Trunk: The Father, the ultimate source of all things.

  • The Living Sap: The Holy Spirit, providing constant vitality and life.

  • The Branches: Jesus, the Divine Word made manifest.

The Cross was the massive beam slammed into the earth, dropping the life-giving fruit of that Tree right down to our level.

Salvation is Not a Final Exam.

You do not have to spend your entire life in fear, panicking about whether your good deeds will weigh enough on a cosmic scale to pass a terrifying final exam.

The Cross has already paid the debt. Freedom is not the final destination; freedom is the door. The moment you accept the sacrifice of the Cross, you step through that threshold into present-tense eternal life.

The eternal Spirit of God is placed inside you, allowing you to walk through this dark world with unshakeable peace.

Your good deeds are no longer forced labour to earn a ticket to heaven; they are the beautiful, organic, inevitable fruits of a branch plugged directly into the vine.

We are speaking out today because we believe the victory of the Cross is a present-tense reality that offers unshakeable peace.

You do not have to carry the weight of your mistakes or worry about passing a terrifying cosmic exam.

John 5:24

Very truly I tell you,

whoever hears my word and believes him

who sent me has eternal life

and will not be judged

but has crossed over from death to life.

John 14:6

I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father

except through me

John 10:10

I have come that they may have life,

and have it to the full.
